1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using DietAlgo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to all users, including dietitians and their clients.

2. Description of Service

DietAlgo is a platform that enables dietitians to manage clients, create and assign personalised meal plans, and track client progress through food logging, streak tracking, and a star reward system. AI-powered macro calculation is provided as a feature within the food logging flow.

3. Accounts

• Dietitians create their own accounts. Client accounts are created by the dietitian using the client's email address.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You may not share your account or allow others to access it on your behalf.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free Plan and Paid Subscription

• The Free plan allows dietitians to manage up to 3 clients at no charge.
• The Pro plan is available on a monthly subscription basis. Pricing is displayed within the app and on our website at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Important Health Disclaimer

DietAlgo is a tool for dietitians and their clients. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• Macro calculations generated by our AI are estimates based on the meal descriptions provided. They may not be fully accurate and should not be relied upon as precise nutritional data.
• Dietary recommendations and meal plans within the app are created by the dietitian, not by DietAlgo.
• If you have a medical condition or specific health concerns, consult a qualified medical professional before making dietary changes.
• DietAlgo accepts no liability for health outcomes resulting from use of the app.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use DietAlgo for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorisation
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use the app in a way that could damage, overload, or impair our infrastructure
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within DietAlgo are the property of DietAlgo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of content you create within the app (e.g. meal plans, client notes). By using DietAlgo, you grant us a limited licence to store and display this content to provide the service.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@dietalgo.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your access to the service ends and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DietAlgo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, health outcomes, or business losses.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of DietAlgo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
